Baseball 2000 (E) ISO

Baseball 2000 (E) ISO

Description :

Baseball fans -- you are in luck. Introduce yourself to All-Star Baseball 2000, which really proves to be an ALL STAR for Baseball games this year. So far - no baseball game has toppled this game yet, and probably they never will come close. With beautiful graphics, great gameplay and more great features, this baseball game is the "one" for all Baseball game fans.

Gameplay 10/10

This game is just a great game for Baseball fans (like myself). You can choose from all the MLB teams with all the updated stats and players and it has almost all the major stadiums. It also has over 200 personal batting stances for the players, which is a cool feature to add at that, and all the personal pitching wind ups. This game will have you drooling over the awesome gameplay once you pop the machine on!

Graphics 10/10

The graphics are amazing. All the MLB Players look outstanding and it really is a cool feature when the players make those outstanding catches. Let's just put at this --- the game LOOKS and PLAYS GREAT!!

Sound/Music 10/10

From "STRIKE" to the crack of the bat, All-Star Baseball 2000 shines in Sound F/X and Music, where there really isn't that much music except those tinny little Baseball Stadium tunes which they got down with realism.

Controls 10/10

Nothing is confusing in this game with the controls. The developers used traditonial controls for this game so even a newbie to Baseball Games wouldn't get confused.

Replay Value 10/10

OH YEAH! You defintely will be coming back to play this game over and over again with your friends or if you just want to beat the playoffs with all the teams. This game defintely wouldn't be forgotten.

Overall 10/10

Yes - All-Star Baseball 2000 is the best Baseball of the year. And if any other Baseball can topple it, it must exceed in everything...which is close to impossible to do. We are awaiting Griffey's Slugfest Baseball game, but, it doesn't seem to quite topple this masterpiece of a baseball game. But, we have to wait till its finished to see what happens to this very close Baseball game race.

Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!! - Eternal Wings (Japan) ISO

Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!! - Eternal Wings (Japan) ISO

Description :

Bakusou Kyoudai Let's & Go!! Eternal Wings is a Racing game, published by Jaleco Entertainment, which was released in Japan in 1998.

Let's and Go Eternal Wings is a great racing game for the Ps. Its your standard car customization game, and promotes alot of fun and replay value. The game follows loosely around the anime cartoon about 4dw Mini racers, and the main characters Retsu and Go. othre characters are also availible with different cars and stats

Gameplay: 8
This is your standard car-customization and race game. However, the game can be customized with a wide range of parts that affect the cars performance. players can choose from motor type or even what batteries to use.

Sound/Video: 8
Standard hums accompany the car, and the animes music follow each character. voice overs are done well to accompany the car's special move. Graphically the game falls short, with its fair share of pixilization. anime cutscenes are found only in the intro and ending, though the character dialouge is done with actual seiyuus with CD quality.

Control: 8
The controls are quite responsive in the game, with a button to brake, go, special move etc. Nothing too special.

Replay Value: 10
the replay val;ue is great. You can choose from over 32 characters and play the game over and over to gain more money for parts, as well as access new characters and tracks. The 2 player function also allows players to race their customized cars.

Bakumatsu Roman - Gekka no Kenshi (The Last Blade) (Japan) ISO

Bakumatsu Roman - Gekka no Kenshi (The Last Blade) (Japan) ISO

Description :

The Last Blade, released in Japan as Bakumatsu Rouman: Gekka no Kenshi (幕末浪漫 月華の剣士?), is a fighting game series created by SNK for the Neo Geo system. The Korean version of the game is known as "The Last Soldier". The Last Blade and its sequel are considered by some to be two of the most accomplished games available for the Neo Geo system.[1][2]
The game takes place during the "bakumatsu" era in Japan, and incorporates various elements of Japanese mythology (with a heavy emphasis on the symbology of the Four Symbols). As such, the background music generally incorporates synthesized instruments simulating a sound appropriate to the 19th century setting, in a Western classical, pseudo-Romantic style (unusual for a fighting game).

Story :

Long before humanity existed, in a far off time of myth, death was an unknown, equally distant concept, but when death first came to the world, the "Messenger from Afar" was born.
With time, the Sealing Rite was held in order to seal Death behind Hell's Gate. At that time, two worlds, one near and one far, were born. Thus the history of life and death began.
Half a year has passed since Suzaku's madness, and the underworld is still linked by a great portal. Kagami's great sin is still heard as if ringing from the heavens. Our world has been called upon. Legends of long ago told of the sealing of the boundary between the two worlds. The Sealing Rite would be necessary to hold back the spirits of that far away world.
However, the Sealing Rite brings together the power of the Four Gods and Sealing Maiden, for the first time properly completing the ritual.
To find the Sealing Maiden, Genbu began searching in the center of the world, from which all things begin. At the same time in the underworld, in the depths of darkness, many spirits conspired, plotting to hinder the Sealing Rite. They had but one wish, to be reborn into our world.
In the American version of this arcade game, the games opening story retains its original Japanese text and voice over.

Characters :

All of the characters in the Last Blade series are of Japanese origin, excluding Lee Rekka, who is from China, and Yuki, who is from Russia. Some characters, such as Akatsuki Musashi and Lee Rekka, are based on historical or legendary figures. A number of characters from the Last Blade series also appeared in SNK Playmore's Neo Geo Battle Coliseum

Gameplay :

The Last Blade series is seen as a spiritual successor to SNK's popular Samurai Shodown series, due to it being a similar 2D weapons-based fighting game. The gameplay is characterised by two selectable fighting styles, and a unique combo system along with a "deflect" system which involves pressing the D button at an opponents attack. Upon deflecting, the opponent is left open to attack.
The two styles consist of two modes: “Speed” mode and “Power” mode;
Speed mode allows players to chain several normal attacks into a special or desperation/super move, as well as execute a "Speed Combo".
Power mode on the other hand, grants the player increased damage potential exponentially and giving access to "Super Desperation Moves" which inflict an exorbitant amount of damage (the recommendations to performing them however, requires the player's life bar to flash and have a full power bar). Power mode also allows the player to perform Super Cancels; canceling a special move into a desperation/super move (but not a desperation move, with the sole exception of Awakened Kaede in the first game).
